Monday Morning Question

Monday Morning Question

Do you have a traditional Easter dinner?  What is it?

My answer:  I make something different every year.  This year I am making corned beef and cabbage with some trimmings.  I have already bought the brisket.  I know, i know, some of you are saying, what are you doing that for, that is not traditional Easter fare.  I am doing it because I want to, lol.  So what are YOU having?

  1. We go by my mother in laws and there is about 27 of us. We have ham, roast, mashed potatoes, corn, salads, biscuits, jello, pies and whatever else anybody decides to bring. This is our last Easter at my mother in laws house because my mother in law is 70 so she is handing it off to one of us. Corned beef and cabbage sounds good to me. I am Irish so I love that. Have a great week.

  3. Your dinner sounds scrumptious! We're not having traditional fare either. We're going to be going to my MIL's house, and they are having a barbeque with ribs, chicken, etc. Talk about your unusual Easter dinners! LOL

  7. We usually have a ham.  So what did I buy?  Another ham for this year too. LOL.  Maybe I will do something different to it this year.  Last year I had some fun with it and put green and red maraschino cherries and pineapple on toothpicks all over my ham.  Looked delicious but also a bit like a ham having a bad hair day.  LOL.  It was colorful though.  Hugs,

  12. As we will be hitting the road Tuesday, we are not cooking.  Instead we will be going out with friends from Vermont and New Hampshire, that will be leaving that week also.  We will make plans to meet back here in the fall.  Life is good.    Dawn
