Tree or Bush - Photo Scav Hunt #71

Weeping Cherry Tree

Here's my entry for Photo Scavenger Hunt # 71.  This Weeping Cherry Tree is in my parents' front yard.  It is one of the most beautiful trees I have ever seen.  I just love weeping trees of any kind, and I love the blossoms on this one.  I wait every Spring to see it bloom.

  4. Wow, that is so cool!  Makes me miss being in Pennsylvania.  I'm planning a trip up to Pgh., and maybe Philly (depends on gas prices), the 1st/2nd week of June.  I can't wait!  Shana

  11. That is a great tree and one I have never seen before.    Val wrote to me about John's visit to the hospital and not having a bed available.    I hope that things are going OK for you and that the I.V. administration at home is getting easier.   I learned how easy it was to jab needles in my stomach for blood thinning after having had a pulmonary embolism following my first knee replacement.   Getting the "butterfly" in correctly must be a little more difficult.    Val in "hinting" about me getting one of my trees on my journal.    I have other requests for my Ferne Clyfee State Park and my geological findings of S. Illinois  also.    I have been visiting as many journals as I can and can't keep up on the alerts.    If I didn't enjoy it I would just give up.     I will hope that John will get through this trying time following the transplant and in a year from now he will be well on his way to complete recovery.    mark
