Monday Morning Question

Monday Morning Question:

How did you meet your husband/wife/boyfriend/girlfriend?  (This question comes from kkasey47)

I met my husband at Barnes and Noble.  I heard him talking to some mutual friends.  He seemed very interesting and nice.  He sat down in the coffee shop to read a book and I sat at the table next to him.  Soon we were talking.  I knew I couldn't lose with someone I met at a bookstore, he was quite the intellectual!  The rest is history.

  8. I first met my hubby in a bar one evening 13 years ago.  He was with someone my friend liked, so we got stuck talking to each other.  We weren't remotely interested in each other!  Over the next year we became friends, always seemed to be at the same places at the same time.  Our friends got involved with a little matchmaking, we arranged a date, and have been together ever since :o)

  14. Oh how neat!  That was neat to know about you guys!!!

Hubby and I met at the copy machine at Dillard's where we both worked as managers.  He was over furniture and electronics, and I was the Personnel Director.  I used to get mad at him for not turning in his "schedules" (of who was manning the department) on time.  We eventually had coffee breaks together.  We loved to make each other laugh.  Then we each went through some tough times and developed a friendship and began to lean on each other quite a bit.  Our coffee turned into "let's get yogurt" to let's catch a movie to ----oops, he kissed me! So much more to the story, but that's how it started!!!
