monday morning question

Thursday of this week is National Blah Blah Blah Day.  National Blah Blah Blah Day was invented by Thomas and Ruth Roy, and always falls on April 17.  The intent of this day is to do all the things/projects people have been nagging you to do.  For example:  quit smoking, get a real job, lose weight, gain weight, take out the trash...

Now for the Monday Morning Question ...  If you were to work on one thing for National Blah Blah Blah Day, what would it be?

My answer:  organizing my home

Now what is YOUR answer?

  5. Krissy, so much to do and so little time.  I think I better paint the barn and fix a few places in the fence.  I told my husband to help in the yard and he said BLAH.

gosh, I'm thinking what someone has nagged me to do and nothing comes to mind, but I'm nagging myself to get things ready for our move so I'll say do some sorting of stuff to give away to Goodwill

    hope you/John are doing well

  12. possibly to go out and join a club or something ~ get out and meet new people.  I am forever moaning to my bessie mate that when she's not around I feel lonely and she tells me I should look into joining a club but I'm not sure I fancy it.  I just can't win LOL

  15. Hi Krissy- I think my national blah blah day would be, National Do Something Kind for a Stranger Day.  It could be anything from helping someone who's lost finddirections, buying a 20$ giftcard at walmart after you pay for your groceries and asking the cashier to give it to the person behind you, or pay for someone in the drive thru behind you etc.  Doesn't have to involve money- just time or an effort to be NICE!  God Bless and I hope you and John are doing well!  Love Carolyn

  17. I've got to sort all the paper and books in my computer area: file, shred, bag and find out if there's still a floor in there.

  18. Hmmmm...I guess start refinishing our closet door that is waiting for me in the garage!
    Love you
I am glad you CT scan went good today. i hope you hear NOTHING and it turns out okay. I'm sorry your having problems with your rotator cuff, sadly this is quite common for it and if you have to have surgery, just know that many people sail through it and recover quickly and nicely.
Yes i"m ready top to bottom and your getting your comment in a summary :)
    Love ya

  19. Krissy, I do so love your Monday Morning Questions!  You always come up with good ones!  BUT Krissy, can't I have 2, pretty please? LOL It's hard to pick just one. Both are things I would feel much better if I did them!

If you were to work on one thing for National Blah Blah Blah Day, what would it be?
I want to say keep on dieting, but that's not a medical issue for me any longer. Though it's gone slow. I've perservered  Stilll want to lose more, but that's only vanity speaking).  The other thing is much harder to make myself do.  CLEAN THE CRAP OUT OF OUR BASEMENT!  (That is the more important thing, but I'm not at all sure I will do it! Love you Krissy! Merry

  20. This is a great one... I am so late answering it on Wednesday.  We had company this weekend and I am way behind on all my alerts.  My projects for National Bla Bla day would be to sew up my outdoor swing cushions that the puppies chewed, do the mending pile, install new door knobs on every door in the house, put in ceiling fans here and there where needed, paint a whole lotta rooms, and paint the bricks around our fireplace a plantation sort of off white color and install the wood floor in that room.  Okay, so I might need a few National Bla Bla days.  LOL.  Hugs,
    Lisa
