  4. I think I tend to go on and on and on with talking about something; have to describe it in much detail. I think it irritates my hubby at times that I can't come to the point.

  5. I tend to repeat myself when giving instructions.  I must learn to be more succinct.  When I repeat myself, I give the impression the person hearing my words was not sharp enough to grasp the message the first time.

  9. Somehow the conversation always comes around to God in my life.  Some people just feel uncomfortable with that, as if I am judging them . . .farthest from the truth, but that's what irritates them about me.  Uh-oh!  Here comes Penny! Blessings, Penny

  10. Hey Krissy...great question.   I think that I annoy people when I "Call them on stuff"...like, I point out what I see is the BS that they are trying to give.   I need to keep my mouth shut more often or at least be more selective!

  11. My cross examinations and probing questions. I like getting the details because I am detail oriented but some people, mostly my kids, think I am trying to prove them wrong. Not my intent. I just want to look at things/situations a little more indepth than the average bear.

  13. What I do that tends to irritate people is that I sometimes speak in monotones -- dead pan mutterings, sometimes, & my voice trails off. I'm not much of a public speaker.

  14. I think sometimes I speak before I think...I don`t mean to be tactless, it just seems to happen, I really hate to cause offence!

  15. I'm stubborn, I'm blunt, I'm logical, I give straight answers without much sugar coating, and I'm not afraid to tell someone they're wrong. I have a dry sense of humor so a lot of times I'm seen as humorless also. Just don't ask my opinion and we'll get along fine!

  16. Me, irritate people?? I don't know what you mean, surely not!!!! Well maybe people don't think I'm taking things seriously 'cos I smile a lot and they think I should look more sombre. I'm just a smiley type, can't help it!!!! Jeannette.  http://journals.aol.co.uk/jlocorriere05/Welcometomytravels

  17. Let's see...I think that I can be a chatterbox which can be irritating..or is it my hypomanicness that is irritating??  Maybe my having to lay down alot or "stop the show" when I am not feeling well.  I can see that it dissappoints people.  I think I am a whiner when I don't feel well.  You, Krissy, say I am not.  I thank you for telling me that, but I don't believe you. lol  Not today anyway. lol  Good question.  Nice to reflect.  Maybe I will do an entry on it. xox

  20. Oh wow....guess I'd have to say that my most irritating characteristic would be that I'm impatient when needing information & I like it straight to the point.  No hour long explanations wanted from me, lol....& at times I'll say so .. if the answer is yes, say yes, if it's not, say no....  ;)

  25. I know I have behavior that irritates people.  If I am aware that I am irritating, then I will apologize and do everything I can to correct my behavior.  People who lie, cover up for themselves and spread harmful gossip, deserve to be scorned.  If I am wrong, I admit it.  At least I am truthful.   mark

  29. I Know there are many things I do that irritate people, but the one thing that pops into my mind this morning is......... I irritate people the most by thinking too much before I make a decision. My sisters can just make SNAP decisions and I am always thinking things through. :)

As for your directness -- I would like if more people were direct. I think that is a good quality.

    Take care.
