Monday Morning Question:
What is your shopping weakness? For some it might be shoes, electronics, or a food item. What is it for you? (Question from Monica)
My answer: When I first read this question I honestly couldn't think of anything that I bought excessively. So I asked John and he told me that I didn't have a shopping weakness. I asked him to think about it real hard, and then he told me diet coke, lol.

Wow, this one is hard. I had to really think this one out. But I think my weakness is a little game or something for my youngest grandson. I seem to always come home with something for him, hey...it keeps him busy! Have a good one!
ReplyDeleteFabric...Don't even let me near a fabric store! I also shop online. A piece of this, and a piece of that, I have a sizeable collection...if I used everything I owned, I think everyone reading this journal would have at least 3 quilts!

My shopping weaknesses change all the time...it used to be shoes, but at the moment it is things for the house or garden. But I am trying to be good and am learning how to walk past a shop of instead of heading straight inside! lol :-)

I don't think I have a shopping weakness right now, because I don't have the money for one..my most recent ones probably have been music cd's, maybe jewelry. Hmmm... Hey, Krissy, yours and John's might be eating out and food. That might be mine sometimes, too. Hard. I think mine changes from month to month. Interesting. xox
ReplyDeleteThis is easy. My weakness is actually 2 things. FOOD, I love shopping for food. the other is stuff for the garden and yard. I do not buy much but I sure do a lot of window shopping!
ReplyDeleteWell, shoes or handbags, I suppose. I like a good bargain, but lately I don't have time to shop so if I do find things, I have a tendency to throw several items in the basket knowing I may not be able to return. I'm not sure if that that is good or bad. LOL!
ReplyDeleteOh man...I am a semi-reformed shop-a-holic so this is a tuff question. I guess I have a weakness for the impulse buys. I see a little something and just lose my head and buy it.
ReplyDeleteJust going to Walmart or Costco seems to make it ok to put everything in the cart. Lol. But I could say clothes for the kids and snacks and food for the pets. Because I could rationalize and say they need it. For me it would be magazines and books, but I have been cutting back on the magazines. For the family DVD's!!!

My weakness are CD's. Mainly soundtracks, but I tend to buy way too many CD's. I love all sorts of music. BUT I have gotten some really bad ones -- oh well, they are still in my collection. :)

Getting rebates and discounts on all my shopping. This saves money that I can now spend on more shopping trips. I also am saving gas money by on line shopping at www.rockingrebates.com. This is a neat experience.

I would have to say CD's and unicorns. ANYthing with unicorns on it.. IF I have extra money that is. that's the norm. But lately it's been these Twins medallions. They release a new one of a player everyday, you have to get the coupon for it in the newpaper everyday and then go get the medallion at the store. There will be 21 in all. It's addicting. LOL I have 9. I'm trying to only get the players I like So that's my weakness. They are "only" 2.99 but that adds up when you think about it.

Well, my shopping weakness is anything article of clothing that is bright orange. Orange is #1 in my book. Gotta have it. CHECK OUT MY JOURNAL..it's new, i just made it today and I WANT SOME COMMENTS, bitches! :-)
ReplyDeleteMy shopping weakness is one of two things. My first shopping weakness is anything related to scrapbooking, I have two large storage containers full of scrapbooking supplies. My other shopping weakness is books. I have four book shelves filled with books and several large boxes of books in storage.

I would have to say my weakness is Hello Kitty stuff. Just the other day, I was at the store, and saw a Hello Kitty stationery pack. Now I don't need anything like this...I didn't even know what exactly was in it, but I knew I had to have it. Who knows--it might have been sold out when I when I did need it! So, being the HK freak that I am, gave into temptation. It wasn't too bad, though...it only cost a buck. But anyway, that's my weakness/obsession.
