The Resurrection of Jesus

The Resurrection Of Jesus

Matthew 24: 1-12

But at daybreak on the first day of the week they took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb; but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were puzzling over this, behold, two men in dazzling garments appeared to them. They were terrified and bowed their faces to the ground. They said to them, "Why do you seek the Living One among the dead? He is not here, but He has been raised. Remember what He said to you while He was still in Galilee, that the Son of Man must be handed over to sinners and be crucified, and rise on the third day." And they remembered his words. Then they returned from the tomb and announced all these things to the eleven and to all the others. The women were Mary Magdalene, Joanna, and Mary the mother of James; the others who accompanied them also told this to the apostles, but their story seemed like nonsense and they did not believe them. But Peter got up and ran to the tomb, bent down, and saw the burial cloths alone; then he went home amazed at what had happened.

Below is a beautiful video to listen to, which will help us worship the Lord Jesus.

Jesus will save each of us from our sins if we ask him, and if we continue to follow him. It's what I'm going to do. What's your choice -- follow him or no?

I hope you're having a having a happy Easter, and have a great week! Krissy :)

  1. Krissy,
I would like to say that you are no average girl. You are very smart. You set a fine example with your love for Jesus. That alone makes you special. But you would be special anyway, because when you care about people, they feel your concern. I always have. Good luck to John, and you, too. It's not easy being the patient's wife, and you two have been through so much already. Because you have the right frames of mind, John's hip surgery will go smoothly. I just know it will. I'll be praying for both of you. Love Always, Merry PS NICE BLOG Krissy, keep up the good work. I can't wait to be part of it(us AOL Journaler's "together again.") Yay!

  5. @Merry -- The Video is not attributed to any singer or group on the YouTube channel. Strange, I know. It merely says "WorshipVideo" under it. Let me skip over to your blog and place a couple of comments in YOUR blog, baby doll! Thanks for the comments, krissy :)

  8. I had a splitting headache today. I decided that was a good excuse to do things that were fun. It was too challenging to do things that required a lot of thought and effort.
My day turned out lovely and I even got to check blogs like yours. Thanks for the upliftment.

  13. Hello Krissy and John

My best thoughts for John's upcoming hip replacement. I have had both knees' replaced so I know what he will be going through following surgery. I had a device that plugged in and would move my knee after each replacement. I had to get to a degree of movement my surgeon would monitor. It was a lot of work to make it move again, but I succeeded and my surgeon said after my 2nd replacement that he thought I was an example he wished all his patients should follow. Some people never achieved the range of movement I have now, which is complete. My knees' are doing great. Is John having one of the newer replacement surgeries that are less invasive and take less recovery time?
I enjoyed reading your Easter message. I am going to get outside and work on my home today. It is extremely windy but I am under my porch roof which will be out of the wind. Or I will be upstairs where I have it closed in with windows this year finally. mark/salty
