ReplyDelete1. it gets dark earlier..I don't have to feel guilty about being in the house on my computer. In the summer I feel I need to be out working in my yard when I get home from work.
ReplyDelete2. I love watching all the neighbors leaves floating down the street.
3. The kids are back to school and not out clogging up the streets with their bikes and skateboards.
Gee I sound almost grouchy this morning.. I guess I need an attitude adjustment.

ReplyDelete2. Putting my fingers through thin ice that was once a small puddle of water
3. Drawing on the small layer of morning ice on my hubs' windshield ... usually writing a phrase like "Love, your secret admirer" or, "hey, baby, call me sometime. you know my number" or whatever comes to mind
4. bundling my children in their light jackets ... the bonding time in that act alone is soooo awesome!
oh, yeah, you only asked for THREE! man alive, i babble alot!

ReplyDeleteYears ago when our children were younger we had piles of leaves to rake up. They would jump in them and have a grand old time. The smell of burning leaves is a sure sighn it's fall. and of course the wonderful crack under your feet as you walk in the dried leaves. Dawn
