Family!
ReplyDeleteWhen Jade was little, I used to take her to NYC to the Macy's Parade. It is something to experience.
ReplyDeleteBeing with family and friends, and making new memories...
ReplyDeleteI love the parade!
ReplyDeleteRemembering the Thanksgivings when I was growing up. One year I brought home a stalk of corn and took it to school to show the other students. Seeing my cousins, Aunts and Uncles, and Grandmother and Grandfather. It was a large family. My Dad's parents died when he was young and he had one brother that we visited at different times of year. Now our family only gets together for a reunion or funeral. Wishing you and John a good Thanksgiving. mark

Well, you know we don't celebrate Thanksgiving here, so my answer will be that Thanksgiving is special because my friends over there in the US are all enjoying the day :o)

#1 Gratitude. Also being with Dutch and trying not to think about hours of preperation over in about 20 minutes of eating! But then I'm thankful for leftovers too. Happy Thanksgiving John and Krissy! Blessings, Sassy

Reconnecting with family that I hardly see, sharing food together, and giving thanks to the Almighty for the goodness of His mercy. Thanksgiving to me is a good time to appreciate what I have, to give to the less fortunate, and to give thanks for the Horn of Plenty which is a life filled with togetherness.

We don't celebrate Thanksgiving here in England Krissy, but I'd celebrate just having family around me.

ReplyDeleteJust stopped by to say Happy Thanksgiving. GBU, Shelly
ReplyDeleteNoodles! :)
ReplyDeleteEvery year since I have been married my husband's family makes noodles for Thanksgiving. They are just thin noodles with chicken broth. No magic ingredients so special sauce -- JUST NOODLES. When my oldest was born that was all she ate on thanksgiving day. I never thought much of it until a few years ago she started talking about the Noodles WEEKS in advance. So now -- every year -- Thanksgiving rolls around and NOODLES are on the mind. LOL
This also starts my Holiday Movie watching. I have a ton of Holiday movies that I go through each year. So the first one will be on Thanksgiving night.
But really -- I am so very thankful for my Family. I Love my kids so very much.
Happy Thanksgiving!!!!
Kate~
I'm thankful that we live in a free country, where we can celebrate Thanksgiving and other holidays. Also that we can worship without fear of prison or even death, for my Heavenly Father who sent his only Son so that we might have enternal life and of course for my family and friends. Blessing to you & John. Linda in Washington
