Monday Morning Question:
What are your plans for Labor Day?
My answer: I really didn't have any plans, so I just asked John. He suggested we get a rack of ribs and some macaroni salad and take it to the park. Later in the evening he wants to go for ice cream at this quaint country ice cream shop. Then maybe we'll rent a movie. Yes, a true day off!

Like you I don't have any real plans. We don't celebrate Labor Day here in the UK but today is a Bank Holiday so I am off work. I want to catch up on so much. I'm in the middle of posting an entry in my journal about my trip to Borneo, I have a very old needlework cabinet I am in the middle of restoring which I'd like to finish off today. I also want to pack for my trip to the USA in three weeks and clean up my apartment. Should get it done in no time with the help of Katinka, my Maine Coon baby who just HAS to help me!!!! Enjoy your Labor Day, I hope the sun will be shinig for you! Jeannette.

ReplyDelete- go downtown and watch the Parade in the morning
- spend the day working around the house
- Cookout at night time
Going to Chill at the Lake......... AFTER we go to the first High school Football game of the season on Friday night. :)

ReplyDeleteKrissy, We are actually leaving on Labor Day for 2 nights away to a very special place that my mom used to rave about. It's called "The Mohonk Mountain House". (in the Catskills in upstate NY). It will be our little getaway to celebrate life... a much needed break. I will take tons of pix for sure to share. Can't wait.... that is, if my tummy behaves. I am shooting a wedding on Saturday. So if I survive that okay, I am planning on painting Hanah's room. I am working a little at a time creating a garden scene all the way around the room. I can't wait until it's done! :-)

Hi Krissy & John~Sounds like a good plan! Dutch has to work and my new therapist does too. The later is good news for me cuz then I get to go see her earlier than I thought. I am going to try and remember a SKY photo for Saturday.
