Monday Morning Question

Monday Morning Question:

What about your family are you thankful for?

There are so many things.  I think the thing I am most thankful for is their generosity.  When I need something they are there for me.  Not just materially, but in every way.  And for that I thank them.

  13. I'm thankful for their love, support, and assistance when I need it. None of them are perfect, and there are some family members I can't talk to, but the ones who are in my corner are the greatest. Ofcourse, I'm not perfect either, and I've caused them grief at times, but we have gotten past it by God's grace. I am thankful for my family, because we have have gotten through the best of times and the worst of times.

  17. I am thankful for their love and their generosity as you said, Krissy!  I am also thankful that they pull together and take care of one another in times of need.  There is no cattiness and there is pure concern.  I don't feel that I won't be taken care of in some way when needed.  I am grateful that I wasn't taught greed or self-absorption and that everyone is valuable!  What a lovely question, Sissy! xox

  19. I do not have a family except for my brother who never keeps intouch and I have my Dad who is getting Alhziemers and I take care of him.  There are nieces and nephews but all are busy with own lives.  I use my friends as family.  They are always there if I need them and I have you and John.  I am thankful for the memories of the family I use to have.

  21. I'm thankful I have a wonderful partner who is so supportive and loving. I'm thankful my Mom is more empathetic than she ever has been and understands my depression. I'm thankful that both of my nephews are becoming such fine young men. I'm glad we have one little one again; Danny's so fun on holidays. I'm thankful my sister-in-law, Deb, is a kindred spirit and a true sister to me. I'm glad we are all in reasonably good health. I'm thankful my Dad got to meet all of his grandchildren accept the baby. I thank the Lord for having more understanding now of all of them than I have ever had. I'm thankful I have a son. I like to think about gratitude around Thanksgiving time so thanks Krissy! xox Sassy
