the CT scan hurt!

I'm back from the hospital fresh out of the CT scan.  It was hard.  The technician made me hold my arms a certain way.  He told me I would have to pull my arms all the way backward!  You know, prior to coming to the hospital, I totally forgot about that part - that they would want me to do that for a lung scan.

I started to panic when the tech gave me the instructions, and I told him it would be IMPOSSIBLE - that my left arm wouldn't go back, and that I was probably going to have to have surgery on my shoulder, my lack of mobility was so bad.  Fortunately, he didn't make me put my arm up all the way.  I stretched as far as I could, and while wincing in pain (well, really whining), the technician took the photos.  Then when I was done, he told me he was proud of me, and that I had done well, for the shape my arm was in, and that the pictures had turned out well!  I was so glad because I really wanted the CT scan to be done today.  If there was something to be found out, I want to know as soon as possible.

So, if I know anything in the next few days I will let you all know.

After the CT scan, John and I finished up our taxes and went and stood in line at the post office, LOL.  Well, we are getting money back anyway.  Yay!  The line was not that bad at the post office.

So I wanted to let you all know a few things.

First I will try to post the JLand Photo Shoot tonight.  With my arm hurting so much, I haven't been able to do it yet.  But I promise to try to do it tonight.

Then tomorrow I will post a new topic for the next photo shoot.  I haven't forgotten.

And hopefully I can get a new digital camera in the next few weeks so I can play too.  If I can't afford it, then it will have to wait till next month.  We'll see.

One more thing.  My sister Valerie wants to remind you all that if you want to play "Weekly Sentence with Val" this week, your answer is due by tomorrow (Wednesday, April 16) at 4 PM.

To play go here:  Weekly Sentence with Val #10

Okay, love you all,

Krissy :)

  10. I know how hard those tests can be to take when you are limited in the way you can move... I'm glad you had a compassionate CT tech... some people in the hospitals are just there for the money and aren't very good with people.  I hope you are doing better now. ~Journey
