Now for the Monday Morning Question:

hi krissy! welcome back. thanks for your comments in my journal. I will write you an email detailing what worked for me...maybe it will help.
ReplyDeleteI met my husband (the first time) when I was 25, he came over to the apartment I was renting and installed a shower for my roommate ( who was his ex). I didn't see him again for 5 yrs. I was working at KDLH-TV and went across the street to a pie throwing contest. I saw this guy get a pie in the face and walked up to interview him. I found out he was "that guy" who had installed our shower. He said he had never forgotten me. We talked and set a date. 6 mos later we were engaged on the Seven Mile Bridge in the Florida Keys. 6 months after that we were married. (sept '04). He is truly my soul mate!!

I see I'm not alone. I met my spouse at church as well. I was 17 and their family started attending. All the girls my age group (me especially) were like 'who are they?' (referring to him and his older brother). We went up to them after church, introduced ourselves, invited them to join our choir and youth group. I soon saw him at my high school...got the courage to ask him to escort me for homecoming court...we started dating...and we've been together (for the most part) eversince!
ReplyDeleteI'm up!
