The Ann Arbor News crime column reported that a man walked into a Burger King in Ypsilanti, Michigan at 7:50 am, flashed a gun and demanded cash. The clerk turned him down because he said he couldn't open the cash register without a food order. When the man ordered onion rings, the clerk said they weren't available for breakfast. The man, frustrated, walked away.
In Chicago a man was wanted for throwing bricks through jewelry store windows and making off with the loot. He was arrested finally after throwing a brick into a Plexiglass window... the brick bounced back, hit him in the head and knocked him cold until the police got there.
In Yankton, South Dakota a woman was arrested at her stepson's Boy Scout meeting. While watching a policeman demonstrate his drug dog's ability, the dog found a bag of grass in her purse.
