What will you have for dinner this New Year's Day?
my answer: Gee. I have no idea. Nothing special. My traditional New Year's Day meal is corned beef and cabbage. But I had no time to get anything this year. I was helping John arrange for a blood transfusion for the past few days, and now I will be with him down at the Medical Treatment Unit while he gets his blood. Oh yes, we have some shrimp in the fridge! I think we'll have that! And some left over punch from last night...
How about you? Krissy :)
Happy New Year to you both ! I will have Pork Roast and Sauerkraut. It' supposed to bring good luck in the new year. I'm not sure if its English, German or Hungarian, but it's a tradition in our family from one of the ancestors.

Since it's the day after, I can tell you what I had. We went to my mother-in-law's house, where she had a nice spread--ham, garlic chicken, lasagna, jambalaya, and other things too. I had to work y'day, so I had to wait ALL DAY (until 8pm) for that food. Not fun...lol. Happy new year!
