Other than the standard items (credit cards, money, driver's license, etc.), what interesting items do you have in your purse or wallet?
my answer: I have two Greyhound luggage tags, a ziplock bag full of quarters, and a $2 phone card
All of these items have something in common. They deal with my travel to Hershey Medical Center. The luggage tags were picked up for the next time I have to go to Hershey and ride the bus. The ziplock bag of quarters is for when I have to stay overnight there, and need to do my laundry. The $2 phone card was given to me by Hope Lodge (where I stay when John gets medical treatment) so that I could make a call home if I needed to while I stayed there.
What's interesting or unusual in your purse or wallet? Krissy :)

ReplyDeleteProbably the most interesting thing is the ear plugs in a little case for my eldest son. He has Asperger's Syndrome, which is on the autism spectrum, and has various sensitivities. Lots of noise, crowd type noise bothers him, so he will wear the ear plugs when necessary. ;-D
ReplyDeletebe well,
Dawn
Lets see, I have my CPR mask incase someone collapses in front of me and I have to do CPR. I have my pepper grinder because fresh ground is always better. I have curious George because.....well I don't know why, just because. I have a toothbrush and floss and my WW point counter. Spare bike tube, hair comb, light up ink pen, pictures of my grandchildren and my date book. That just about covers it.

Lemme see...ok, here we go. My camera, my work schedule, scrap paper (so I can write down those weird 411 calls), and an Epi-Pen (for Lexi). How's that?

They only answer I have to this question isn't interesting just odd.. I have two hot wheels in my purse. I believe my little one put them in there, so I shall keep them there until he wants them back. He might have put them in there for safe keeping or for me to never forget him. So they stay!

I have lots of pens, hair brush, lipsticks. sunglasses, and the usual. I use to have everything but the kitchen sink in my purse, but when my neck and back got so bad and after those surgeries, I had to go to a LIGHT purse, and that meant small, and so there is no room for extra stuff (or it'd be in there!) xoxox Merry

ReplyDeleteI carry a huge purse. I try not to stuff it. Sometimes I have crocheting in it. Most of the time a book. A notebook. A LOT of different lipsticks. Hand sanitizer. Toothpicks. ALWAYS gum. Maybe the most unique thing in my purse is a skeleton key. It used to open every door in my parents house. :)

I have a few things in my purse that some may consider different. I don't know about interesting..... LOL I posted what they are.

I have a ziploc baggie full of kleenex in my purse.
ReplyDeleteMaybe that's not odd to others. I don't know.
But honestly other than that I have the usual keys, wallet, comb, etc in my purse.
Anyways, I don't like the little packets of kleenex cuz they run out too quickly for me - as I have a lot of nasal congestion due to allergies/rhinitis. And I don't like to carry a whole box of kleenex with me. It's just plain odd. LOL!
Do I take a huge stash of kleenex and put them in a ziploc baggie and carrie them in my purse.
My wallet holds interesting things like Kantorei business cards incase I want to recruit for my choir, as well as straw from the manger scene at our church. It's a Polish tradition. (I'm Polish as well as Irish, but don't tell anyone. :-) !)

ReplyDeleteI know it isn't monday but I thought I would answer the question since I just read it. My purse is my home away from home so I have lots of stuff.LOL. My gameboy and 2 games for when I have to wait for someone, word fill in puzzles, small x stich project, gum, camera never know when i'll need to take a picture, notebook half a dozen pens. Sometimes a book, or yarn. Gordon used to say I had everything but the kitchen sink he looked for a long time for a key chain shaped like a sink but never found one.

I am FINALLY getting over to do this. I promise, I still haven't cleaned my purse, LOL. Besides my credit cards, drivers license and a few bucks, I have Andrea's permanent residence card, her border-crosser visa, her work card (no she doesn't work) her social security card. I also carry Kayla and Lupe's medical cards and social security cards. I have Rob's state ID card which is just like his driver's license. There's a gift certificate for a great Italian restaurant, pack of gum, receipts I haven't transferred to the envelope, mirror, etc. The rest of the tour is too boring to mention. I carry my dad's old hunting and fishing licenses.....even though he will never need them again. strange! Love ya, Shelly
ReplyDeleteI have almost everything a girl could want in the purse I carry to work. I bet it weighs 15 pounds. But I have another smaller one that I throw my wallet in for weekend duty. And friend Bob got me a new purse (one I picked out) for my birthday a couple weeks ago, so that will be my retirement purse. My "weekend" purse is wearing out and the straps aren't long enough to put over my shoulder. How about a small manicure set and one of those little sewing kits....I have one in all my purses, and the gals at work always come to me if they have a broken nail or need to sew on a button.
