  2. I don't think there is anything on tv in the uk that was on when i was a child in the 50's.  What passes as tele here now is absolute rubbish except for the odd programme.

LOL  Some of the old cartoons are great like The Flintstones.  Great question!  I am probably forgetting something that I watch.  I do like Little House, too!  Love, Val xox

  13. Krissy,  When I have time I sometimes watch Perry Mason or Bonanza.  If I can find All in the Family I watch that.  I would rather read a good book than watch TV .  Years ago I watched all the cowboy shows.               Myke

  16. My favorites are Little House on the Prarie and Waltons, I also watch Leave It To Beaver and I Love Lucy.  The other day they had the Flying Nun on.  Sometimes u can find the Partridge family also, which i like to watch.  Although, this was not on when I was a child, one of my very favorites is Touched by an Angel.  This is a great question.  Very rarely you can also find Our Miss Brooks which  I really liked and the Real McCoys and My Little Margie.

  20. why has no one said the Brady Bunch???? "Marcia Marcia Marcia!" "Oh No MY NOSE!" I will always love this show... I forget to watch old shows and don't often see them listed so I forget to watch them. I'm a big fan of teen shows which I admit makes me a giant moron... so I watch things for kids that were not during my childhood at all such as Degrassy High or My So Called life, and cartoons like Hey Arnold or Wild Thornberrys ....

  22. I am laughing.  When I was a child, there WAS no TV.  I listened to Jack Armstrong, the All American Boy, Orphan Annie, The Green Hornet, The Shadow on radio though. None of those shows survive.  Superman is still around though in new form.
Other science fiection was Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, and Flash Gordon.  Those were comic strips as was Dick Tracy.
Also I remember the first comic book I ever saw. It was Mickey Mouse comics.  Later came Famous Funnies that reproduced the Sunday comic strips in smaller format.
     But childhood TV....nope
