Well I stayed up tonight doing Christmas cards. Started out early and here it is 3:45 AM! Boy will I be tired tomorrow!
I have really been enjoying this Christmas season. I have gotten my Christmas shopping done. I finished it up today. I am finishing up my cards. I should have them done by tomorrow and should have my shipping out. Then I can relax.
I am going to take some time out and just have a good time and maybe go out with friends. That should be fun. I haven't done that in a long time. I haven't felt well enough mentally or physically.
Things are really nice this Christmas. My depression is way down. And I have dropped weight since I started my thyroid medication. And being engaged has been just dreamy.
I can't believe how much I have neglected my journal. I haven't written to many daily entries. I have been tremendously busy. I want to write more entries but sometimes I feel like I am the most boring person in the world, lol.
Well, I need to get off to bed. I hope everyone is enjoying this time of year too.

I stayed up wrapping pressies and writing cards for J's school friends last night, then I remembered I had to decorate his lunch box for his Christmas party!! Nightmare!! lol

No way, you are not boring! I love to read about your life! I'm so glad it is going well. I'm jealous of those whose shopping is done. I'm almost done, but I'm just so tired. Anyway, have a good week end and enjoy the rest of the season!

ReplyDeleteI have written...oh....about 3 Christmas cards, still have loads of shopping (I'll be the crazy lady beating people for the last Barbie house on Christmas eve!), haven't baked a single Christmas cookie (does chocolate marble cake count?), haven't even wrapped any presents!
It seems to be one of those years, I haven't even gotten any Christmas cards yet, everyone's running late...wait I did get one already. And usually I mail mine out the first week of December..boy I'm behind!
Glad to see you get some times to relax and spend time with friends and your fiance...doesn't that just roll off your tongue?!

I did my cards in shifts this year! Posted all the cards, then send a few each day! I only have about four or five left! Doing it all at once is too overwhelming for me! I am so glad you are feeling better.
ReplyDeleteKrissy your journal will never be boring and you aren't the only one who has been neglecting their journal. There are times when poor health comes first, your mind and body just need to switch off for a while. The number of entries doesn't matter, because the ones you make are real quality.

Glad that you are feeling so much better. We are enjoying cards coming in on a daily basis. So much nicer than bills or junk mail. Presents all wrapped, all I have to do now is make some mince pies and we are all set, if Mike's boss would only pay him!!!! Hope you enjoy your outing with friends.
