Monday Morning Question

Monday Morning Question:

What did you have for your Christmas dinner?

John and I went to Val's and Chelsea's to eat.  They served us a dinner of turkey, cornbread stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, macaroni and cheese, green beans, mandarin oranges, pineapple, cheese and crackers, pickles, and Christmas cookies!  It was beyond delicious!  Thanks ladies!

What did you have?

  4. We had a choice of starter....either tomato soup (I had that) or prawn cocktail. My mum cooked both beef and turkey...we had stuffing, yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes, cabbage, carrots, mashed parsnip, broccoli, gravy...then a choice of trifle, chocolate gateau, christmas pudding or ice cream...all could be served with either cream or custard....

We had a feast!!!  No wonder I had to go and sleep before dessert!

  5. Krissy,
We were invited to hubby's sister's for Christmas Eve.  It was a wonderful dinner.  Everyone brought something.  There was Baked Ziti (my contribution), chicken cutlet parm, rice balls, hot wings, fried fish, creamed spinach, potatos, all kinds of deserts.  I slept through it all.  I got sick. Christmas Day we were supposed to heat up a tray of Baked Ziti but I again slept all day.  Hubby ordered Chinese.  LOL  Love LuAnne

  7. It was just the two of us here on Christmas Day so we had what we fancied. Roasted stuffed pheasant, roast potatoes, creamed potatoes, purple sprouting and baby carrots, followed by a simple orange cheesecake. Great talking to you on Christmas Day Krissy. Take care. Speak to you again soon.
    Lots of love,
    Sylvia

Is it still considered morning? I'll play along anyhow. Ham, masheded potatoes, corn, brown & serve bisquits, applesauce, pineapple, cherries, and cheesecake. Off to kill my friend. Enjoy your new year & I hope that John's health problems get better.
