I have really good news today. I have a date for my wedding. It is May 7th! What is so exciting about that is normally my church makes you wait nine months to get married. But my priest called me today and said I could get married on May 7th. I guess the fact that John and I have been dating for over six years might have had something to do with it, I don't know! Anyway, I am so excited!
I have already been planning away of course, with the help of my parents, because time is already short! It is actually fun. Of course with fun comes, uhm, I don't know if it is called stress or what it is called. I told myself that I was never going to be one of those crazy brides-to-be. So I will just relax and enjoy this time and not go kooky like my parents suggest, lol. I will just enjoy this time, and enjoy my special day when it comes.
Well, I am really happy this Christmas season. Tomorrow I am going to go ring shopping!

A May wedding, what a beautiful time of the year. Here everything is pale green, white flowers and blossom cover the hedgerows and verges. The apple sprinkles its pinky white blossoms like confetti. And the bluebells fill the woods with a vibrant, but breathtaking carpet of blue. The fields and banks are covered with tiny yellow cowslips and the roses are pushing into bloom. How wonderful for you. A real fairytale. I am going to keep my promise and ring that day. It is so lovely to know you are experiencing happiness, joy and the love that has made it possible.

This is such a fun time. I love planning a wedding. Go out and pick up all those great Brides magazines. They have great ideas, contests, and the all important schedule of Bridal Expos. I won some cool prizes at those (plus all the freebie nibbles and cakes). ;-)
