Monday Morning Question

Monday Morning Question:

If you could have a career change right now, and do anything you wanted to, what would it be?

My answer:  I can't work right now, because I am disabled, but if I could, well, there is at least ten things that I can think of that I would like to do.  But I am going to pick just one.  An ESL teacher.  Or something in the ESL field involving teaching English as a second language to people.  I did this in a volunteer capacity a number of years back and enjoyed it immensely.  It was extremely rewarding.

What would you choose to do?

  6. I too am on disability but if I could do anything in the world, I would like to carry on the wonderful work Princess Diana did. I would love to go out to orphanages and help and make a difference. I am no princess but I just want to help those less fortunate than myself..............Jules xxx

  7. I don't work, but I am going to go to school, soon.  I have narrowed my career choices down to: Criminal Justice, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, or Personal Trainer.  Varied, huh?  I have a reason for each!  JAE

  10. I would want to work for Veggie Tales, doing both voice overs and writing crazy songs for them. I am so crazy sometimes and have come up with some fun stuff. That would be the ultimate job for me. Not only would I be singing, which is what I love, I would also be able to help make god and bible stories known to the public.

  14. Ah...easy one. I'd have oodles of money and spend all my free time giving it away to people in need. Too far fetched? Ok then. I'd love to be a professional photographer. I'd have my own studio and do weddings and such, and portraits of people, babies and animals. I'd also love to do art photography and be shown in a gallery. Yeah. Maybe someday. :-)

  15. I'd like to be a professional photograher and videographer, and travel the world filming all the beautiful places most will never get to enjoy. But to be practical, I would be a Social Studies teacher, then I could teach about all those places!

  16. I am a full time carer to my husband but if I had the chance I would like to work as a psychiatric nurse.... Not really a 'career' change, as my husband suffers from manic depression, amongst other ailments. Because of his illness and my own personal forays into mental illness (depression and seasonal affective disorder), I feel I have the understanding and patience needed. Alternatively I would spend my time educating the general public about mental illness. It is the 'Cinderella' branch of medicine and very misunderstood by many people. People who have not had first hand experience/knowledge  of mental illness tend to be frightened by it. That is wrong. Mental illness is what it says....just an illness like any other.
