Thanksgiving
I was going to put a lot of Thanksgiving pics in here and show you my feast. John and I made and served up chicken, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, candied yams, brussels sprouts, whole cranberry sauce, manderin oranges, and black olives. Those last two you just have to understand, they are family favorites! Valerie came over bearing gifts of chocolate and stuffed animals!
I was too tired so I never broke out the camera. The next day John was eating pumpkin pie. I told him about how I never got my photos and begged him to let me photograph him while he was eating his pie. To my surprise he said yes! So this is a photo of John eating his Thanksgiving pie and drinking his coffee, lol.
Send a piece of that pie over Krissy please? Making my mouth water looking at that pic.
ReplyDeleteHow nice of John to sit there for you! I am thankful for you and John, my lovely!

OK, I really gotta love John! He's such a good sport to let you get a picture. I'm glad you enjoyed your Thanksgiving. I've just posted my entry in Back Roads ... a tad late, it's been a bit busy around here. But, I was LOVIN it! :-)

Great picture ;) We didn't have pumpkin pie this year, seeing it dripping with whipped cream is making me wish I had! I'm glad you all had a Happy Thanksgiving!

He does look as if he is enjoying it Sandra x
ReplyDeleteYum! Isn't that what it's about food-wise? We enjoy our favorites and thank our Father for the privilege. Good for John! Penny
ReplyDeleteHey I did the same thing. Had plans to take all sorts of wonderful phots and ended up having such a great time never got to the photos. John was lucky to find pie the next day. All our dessert were all consumed on site that night. Sounds like you all had an excellent time. Take care!!
ReplyDeleteYou're so funny! I spaced and forgot to photograph the turkey before it was carved...and once the food was served, forget it. I was starving! LOL So I missed a ton of shots. Still resizing and trying to think of a clever way to put them into the journal. Maybe sometime today. LOL
