monday morning question

What would you say are the three strangest items in your refrigerator right now?

My answer:

marinated artichoke hearts

Nepro (a dietary supplement drink for people with kidney damage)

a bottle of Acidophilus capsules (that one is for John's health too, I am not exactly sure for what, LOL)

  3. almond milk--my dad can't have cow milk so he drinks rice, soy or almond milk--it seems strange to me

2 different kinds of eggs--most people only have one--but I like brown eggs and white eggs and egg subsitute as well--all 3 in the fridge.

hmmm--I would say the 3 musketeers bars in the fruit drawer--but I finished those this afternoon.

Nothing too weird in my fridge.

Acidopholus is good for digestion--it puts the good bacteria back in the tummy.

  7. Well, let's see -- there's the frozen, deceased fish in the dunkin donuts cup, wrapped in plastic and in a freezer bag.  Then there's the Soft Paws cat claw covers and about ten tubes of the glue to go with them.  Oh yeah, and two plastic corsage boxes with two years worth of boutineers and wrist corsages.

Gee -- and to think that my first thought was 'there's nothing strange in my fridge'.

    HA!

  20. Dyed Easter egg.  Seriously, from many years ago, done in a traditional Russian fashion that took my daughter and I all afternoon under the instruction of an expert.  It's SUPPOSED to last many years as a family heirloom:)
An uncooked, getting spoiled, artichoke, as I realized after I bought it, expectantly, that I don't know if I boil it, microwave it, or how I'm supposed to cook it and kind-of never figured it out.
Who knows what else -- I'm a bit hesitant to look lol.

  21. Lets take a look in my refrig. Acidophilus capsules which protects beneficial bacteria from the acidic environment of the stomach.  Vitamins for my horse.
Old grapefruit that has shrunk to a size of a tennis ball.  There are other things that I will not mention. Will clean out frig today for sure.

  29. I'm late since it's Wed but better late then never (still not caught up on journal reading)
I actually had to go look to find "strange" items in there which some are strange to other's (someone once commented on one of them) the other's are just odd that they are there:
    1. A jar of eye cream (people have said WTH is that in there for) it feel better when it's cold duh!
    2. An empty wrapper from chocolate chip cookie dough (can't anyone throw stuff out I'm sure it was my child he loves to eat dough but I just don't know when he ate it)
    3. Instant coffee (only strange because I didn't buy it and I have no clue who/how it got there.

    Luv,
    Promise

  30. 1. a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon with a couple of ounces in it.  Sheuld be well chilled by now since it has been there for six months or more.  I don't drink mjch wine.
2  Small bottle of vanilla.  I don't know what it is there. I never use it
    3. Christmas Fudge...from last Christmas...or maybe the Christmas before. I don't eat it, but cannot bring myself to throw it out.
4 (extra credit) vinegar.  Who keeps vinegar in the fridge? I think I sip more vinegar than I do wine, and either one is very rarely.

  31. I looked and found two rolls of film (someone said it keeps it fresh to refrigerate it)..  I don't use film since I bought a digital camera.   A tablespoon or so of real butter wrapped in it's orginal wrapper.  Why I kept it and why I bought real butter in the first place, I do not know.  A half of a jar of sun dried tomatoes in oil.  I used them in a salmon recipe last summer so I guess I should toss them and buy fresh next time I fix the recipe.
